Google likely will never provide certifications to webmasters and SEO companies. Certification for SEOs is a like more touchy topic. There are many SEOs who would never like to see Google offering SEO certification. The reason behind this decision of Google is as follows - The folks at the Stone Temple Consulting had interviewed Google’s Gary ILLyes about SEO Certification and was also posted in many of the social networking sites. He answered one question saying that Google has discussed internally not to add an SEO certification. It even does not offer certification for AdWords, AdSense, display ads, Google Apps. Analytics and there are many. Mainly for SEO, it does not offer any certification. Google does not want to accept any money from webmasters when it comes to organic search results. Organic search results are not based on paying Google, if they do accept money for certification then it would be wrong, Gray replied. He also condemned that training and certification are not that good enough and the organic search side of Google is concerned all about scaling things. Instead of training people we can hire more people which would cost more than the training. Each time after their discussion also they come back to the same decision of not providing any certification. There are many SEO experts in the industry certification programs. On the other side if Google offers certification for SEOs, and they continuously changing the stuff at the back end by hook or nook that would be a big loss for the company. This is also one of the main reason. Some industry group have taken spam, spammer. A Spammer who can violate every single one of webspam guidelines. The industry has been discussing with Google regarding this kind of people who should never be listed as upstairs in the members of the community.
