    Google Has Confirmed Removing PageRank Toolbar

    Recently, Google has killed off its Toolbar PageRank which means that if you use a browser that displays you PageRank data from Google, next time when you open the browser it won’t be displayed anymore.

    Google tries to explain that it uses the toolbar internally within the ranking algorithm. PageRank external values are moving away completely.

    1. When Google has stripped away PageRank from their browsers for years and years and hasn’t updated the score of PageRank for years.
    1. It takes time for the servers in order to remove the scores. In the early 2000s PageRank score which was heavily used by the SEOs and webmasters which will completely be unavailable for them within two weeks.
    1. Technically, March 7 was the last update of Google Toolbar PageRank which removed the data by external tools. It can be used now but after a couple of weeks, it might be exhausted.
    1. The score ranks used by Google internally are tough and complex. External PageRank scores start from 0 to 10.
    1. Google uses it internally as it the important factor for their algorithm. In the year 2007 when Google has asked its webmasters for the feedback of removing PageRank.
    1. In 2009, it has removed showing of PageRank-like Search Console in the webmaster tools. In the year 2012, when Google has stopped updating external PageRank. In December 2013, it has accidentally updated PageRank.
    1. But in the same year, Mark Cutts had declared that they will never kill off PageRank in the toolbar. It is done and Mark Cutts is also no longer.
    1. Since then Google told many times that it will never update the Toolbar again and again.
    1. Google wants to hear from the webmaster forums and can solidify the move by going forward.
