What does a technical SEO audit include?
A technical SEO audit from us covers roughly 25 checks across six areas: crawlability and indexation, site architecture and internal linking, site speed and Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, structured data, and security with duplicate content handling. Every check is confirmed against a real crawl and your Google Search Console data, not just an automated scan, and the result is a prioritized fix list, not a raw error export.
Do you implement the fixes, or just send us a report?
We implement the fixes. A report on its own tells you what is wrong and leaves you to find someone who can fix it; we do both in the same engagement, from editing templates and correcting redirects to rebuilding schema and restructuring internal links. You can also add ongoing implementation support as a retainer if you want us to keep fixing things as your site grows.
How long does a technical SEO audit take?
A full crawl and Search Console review typically takes one to two weeks, depending on site size and how many of the roughly 25 checks turn up issues that need deeper digging. Sites with a few dozen pages move faster; sites with tens of thousands of URLs or a history of migrations take longer because more of the crawl needs manual verification rather than an automated pass.
Do you work with our existing developers?
Yes. We work directly with in-house developers or your existing agency when fixes need to go through your own deployment process, and we document every fix in plain language so your team can implement it correctly without needing to hand us write access. Where you want us to implement fixes ourselves, we can also work inside your CMS or codebase directly, whichever is faster for your team.
What CMS platforms do you support?
We work across WordPress, Shopify, custom-coded sites and most common CMS and ecommerce platforms. The audit itself is platform-neutral, because crawling, indexing and Core Web Vitals problems are not specific to any one system. Where the fix does depend on the platform, a Yoast setting on WordPress versus a template issue on Shopify, we tell you exactly which one applies to your site rather than handing you a generic checklist.
How is technical SEO different from on-page SEO?
On-page SEO is about what is on a page: the words, headings, keywords and internal links, covered by our on-page SEO services. Technical SEO is about the infrastructure underneath: whether the page can be crawled, how fast it loads, whether it is mobile-friendly, and whether search engines can read its structured data. A page can have excellent on-page SEO and still fail to rank if a technical problem stops it from being crawled or indexed in the first place. As a technical SEO agency, we treat this layer as the foundation the rest of the work sits on, not an optional add-on.
What are Core Web Vitals and why do they matter?
Core Web Vitals are Google's metrics for real-world user experience: how fast the main content loads, how quickly the page responds to interaction, and how much the layout shifts while loading. Google uses these as a ranking factor, and poor scores also cost you visitors who leave before the page finishes loading. We measure and fix each metric rather than treating speed as one vague number.
Is technical SEO a one-time job or ongoing work?
It starts as a one-time audit and fix, but it does not stay fixed on its own. New pages, plugin updates, redesigns and added scripts regularly introduce fresh technical issues, which is why we offer the audit as a fixed fee and ongoing monitoring as a separate retainer rather than a single one-off engagement. We run periodic health checks after the initial fix so problems are caught in Search Console before they cost you rankings, rather than months after the damage is done.
