- Toyota’s commitment is to develop a project that actually improves mobility for blind vision impaired community.
- Mobility is really at the core of anything and independent of a blind man.
- Using camera’s BLAID can detect various features which are important to the blind community. For example – doors, restrooms signs, exit boards etc.
- Toyota, in addition, is also doing research on fissure recognition types offered. In a scale environment, it can tell you what you see.
- The second button that is there in the wearable component device takes you to the place you ask for it. For example- you need to go to a restroom, then you can ask the device to show the way. The device will take you to the restrooms.
- Toyota’s main mission is to improve the mobility which is very interesting to the blind people. They are building this component for people who want to change their lives.
