Google Allo is launched and is finally on multiple devices across the world. What makes this latest Instant Messaging app different from rest all apps is the Google Assistant. Google Assistant is an artificial intelligence chatbot that provides expected replies on the basis of users chat or previous messages. The thing about Google Assistant that shocks everyone is its ability to humanise the act of searching and performing simple chat tasks. You can get entertained, recite a poem, get told a joke, served rich Google search results,  weather, news and sports information all this only from Allo. The fundamental design of Allo is its ability to provide rich access to information without leaving the app. Google basically wants to lock all the users in one app without feeling the need to leave the app ever.

    Drawback of Google Allo

For enabling all this, Google needs to access the personal information of the Allo users that now becomes a huge privacy and security concern among the users. All the messages exchanged on Google Allo get encrypted on Google servers. Moreover, all the personal information fetched by Google can be provided to government and law enforcement agencies on their request.

A great whistleblower Edward Snowden also expressed his displeasure over the Allo app on Twitter.

Take the future in your hands

In spite of all this, one great thing that Google Allo provides is its ability to give future in your hands. It always provides accurate replies to your previous message and thus makes the chat process very easy. Furthermore, its additional ability to provide various news results and additional search results make it the perfect app for search. Allo is actually built with three technical domains of Google: machine learning, search, and natural-language processing. Users can also chat with the Google Assistant and can ask different types of questions from it. Then accordingly Google Assistant will give the reply to your questions. When the Allo was launched then Google said that all the messages would be stored on the Google servers temporarily but later Google backtrack on this statement that make the users very disappointed around the world.
