    Results of Change in Bidding

Two main results would be reaped by the change in bidding policy of Google. The first is that tablet and desktop bids will be untethered. The second is useful for advertisers. Internet marketers would be able to develop a niche according to Google’s latest ad policies. They would simply focus a lot on Mobile advertisements. It is a fact that way Google displays ads on smartphones and mobile is much different from the way these ads are displayed on Desktop. Now, when the number of customers using Google on mobile has surpassed the number of customers using Desktop then this move of Google seems was inevitable.

The Senior Vice President of Ads and Commerce Sridhar Ramaswamy explained that this move will benefit marketers a lot. This will make base keyword bid more valuable to the device. In this way advertisers would be able of setting bids for other devices too. This has given more edge to advertisers in many regards. They will set base bid and then bid adjustment for all devices ranging from -100 % to 900 %.
