Findings of Report
In the report that was titled as People Based Marketing the impact of addressable media was evaluated. The report was conducted by the Signal along with Econsultancy. Basically, a survey mechanism was used for this. More than 350 Agency Media Buyers and Brand Marketers were surveyed. All these were US based. All these companies were observed in relation to impact of addressable media on their business. One-fourth of the advertisers said that they spent more than half on People Based Marketing. Almost two- third advertisers reported that they were increasing investments in real media advertisements.
The basic fact that was revealed in report indicated that real time advertising proves to be more fruitful in terms of using outcome. Advertising by relying on cookies only, is a process that has shortcomings in long run.
Survey Stats Related to Effectiveness of Addressable Media
Survey shows that addressable media is going to be the future marketing strategy for many online marketing companies. This was revealed by more than 92 % companies that they and their clients are rapidly switching to addressable media. This uptake was attributed to the success of people based marketing strategy. There is no doubt that success in this regard is out doing the success from traditional modes of marketing. The percentage of media houses that relied on addressable media marketing was 83 %. While more than 70% users of this strategy rated it to be excellent or good.
