The price of 32 GB variant of Pixel XL is approximately Rs 51,000 and of 128 GB variant is approximately 58,000. However, this launch event did not go well as people are considering it the worst kept secrets of Google because almost all the details were leaked in advance.

The Google Pixel comes with a 5-inch full HD Amoled display and the Google Pixel XL has a 5.5-inch Quad HD Amoled Display and both are supported by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Both the Smartphones will be available with identical innards except the battery size and the screen size. Both the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL in the unlocked version will be available from Google store and exclusively via Verizon. These will be available in Really Blue, Quite Black, and Very Silver Colour Variants but it is reported that the Blue color will not be launched in India.

    Google Assistant

Google Pixel and Pixel XL are the first phones that come with built-in Google Assistant. When the user says “hot word” or touch and holds the home button then the Assistant jumps into action. In the Google’s event demo, Assistant was presented as bringing photos from a particular place or time from the past and it also plays whatever music the users ask it to play.

    Google Now

Google Assistant also integrates the Google now on tap functionality that allows the user to swipe the information on the screen like a restaurant name and also provides additional information such as restaurant’s address and reviews. Similar to bot, the Google Assistant will take the reservation for the restaurant using the voice prompts only.
