Oppo has recently launched the latest Smartphones in the R9 Series at an event in China. The Oppo R9s Plus and Oppo R9s will be available in Rose Gold and Gold color variants in China. Both the Oppo R9s Plus and Oppo R9s come with the improved cameras, fingerprint sensors, and fast charging batteries. These two latest smartphones run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow along with the Oppo’s own color OS 3.0 on the top. The previous R9 Plus and R9 were self-focused devices with the R9 having a 13-megapixel rear camera 16-megapixel front camera and R9 Plus with the pair of 16-Megapixel cameras. The latest Oppo R9 Plus and Oppo R9 standardize the specifications of the camera with the larger variant coming along with OIS. Oppo has been very active in the category of selfie-focused Smartphone with its range of devices which boost the front camera for the selfie lovers. The range of Oppo includes Oppo F1, Oppo F1 Plus, Oppo F1s and much more.
Oppo R9 Specifications
The Oppo R9 comes with the 5.5-inch 1080p display along with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 on the top. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and Adreno 506 GPU coupled with the RAM of 4GB. It has 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded through microSD card up to 256GB. On the front of the Smartphone, it features a fingerprint scanner. It comes with the 3,010 mAh battery that has VOOC fast charging capability, which is claimed to give two hours of talk time with five minutes of charging.
Oppo R9 Plus Specifications
The Oppo R9 Plus comes with the larger 6-inch 1080p display and it becomes the first Smartphone that is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset. The recently launched chipset by the Qualcomm is expected to have a faster LTE modem that offers five times faster upload and download speeds. Chipset also comes with the ClearSight technology that provides built-in support for dual-camera system in Smartphone. Furthermore, it has the 4G LTE compatibility which is aided with the new processor. Oppo R9 Plus features 16-megapixel rear and front camera. It further comes with LED flash and 4k video capture support. The selfie camera comes with the f/2.0 aperture.
