    Nokia Reports An Exponential Growth In 3G Network

    • With the growth of mobile networks, the communication gap among people has also increased with the increase in social networking sites.
    • 2015 was the year that turned out to be the year of growth for the 3G networks. According to the annual report of Nokia’s mobile broadband network in India, the stage is all set for 4G networks to own 2016.
    • There was an 85 percent growth in 3G traffic in the year 2015 which indirectly led to a 12 percent decrease in the 2G network traffic.
    • Generally, wireless carriers appear to be in pace with the explosion in demand for the mobile data service.
    • 3G network that is used today is as fast as it was a year ago though subscribers are tapping their foot for the higher network and devices.
    • 4G has become very common in the respective areas, they are finally landing onto the 3G network. Research shows that each year the demand for the mobile broadband network is doubling, so there is no room to maintain idle.
    • This year the results for the wireless network operators show that they are continuously investing in 3G networks, to ensure that the speed remains same competitive.
    • As 3G network is in demand, this could be a lower uptake for the 2G handsets over the year as 3G handsets are virtually ubiquitous.
    • 3G data is responsible for the total mobile network traffic last year, which largely owes to the fact that maximum six out of every ten phones sold are 3G enabled.
    • Coming to the 4G network front, approximately 47 million 4G devices are in use.
