Moto Z and Moto Z Play with Moto Mods

The Moto Z and Moto Z Play were unveiled in India two weeks ago and now are available at Amazon India and Flipkart. The Moto Z costs Rs 39,990, while the Moto Z Play has a bit more reasonable rate of Rs. 24,999. Along with these Smartphones, the modular accessories called Moto Mods that snap on the back of Moto Z and Moto Z Play are now also available for in India. The Moto Z is undoubtedly the most interesting Smartphone in the recent years as it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 13Mp rear camera with 4k recording and OIS, 4GB of RAM, a 2600mAh battery with the TurboCharging Support and a 5MP front shooter.

Moto Z

Moto Z is the world’s thinnest premium Smartphone that has a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with the protection of corning gorilla glass, suave and sleek glass/metal body along with unlimited feature expansion through Moto Mods. The 13MP rear camera has f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus, and dual LED flash and optical image stabilization. Motorola claims that it has improved its low light capabilities and have front 5MP camera that is shared along with the Moto Z Play.

Moto Z Play

Moto Z Play has launched alongside the flagship Moto Z, which comes with the 5.5 inch 1080p super AMOLED display. Moto Z Play is made with the metal frame and glass back that feels premium in the hand. Moto Z Play is quite thicker and heavier than Moto Z, which is a good thing as it’s much easier to grip in the hand. The Moto Z Play comes with a 16Mp rear camera along with laser autofocus, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 635 processor and much larger battery.

Moto Mods

Moto Mods accessories are used to increase the functionality of the device. After the recent launch of ‘LG G5’, Moto Mods become the second implementation of the ‘modular’ concept. However, Moto Mods are considered as much better than the LG G5 as in LG G5 one always have to remove the battery every time for adding the accessory.
