The best way to get the virtual reality experience is to use the Gear VR headset that let players play anywhere. In the urge to expand the Xbox wireless ecosystem, Microsoft now added the Samsung Gear VR to the system. Xbox wireless controller supports Xbox one and windows 10. Minecraft: Gear VR Edition is the first VR game that will support Xbox Wireless Controller. Microsoft is going to promote this game at MINECON this weekend. Gear VR is now powered by Facebook’s Oculus and has its own D-Pad too. According to the Microsoft, this latest Gear VR edition of Minecraft will let the players get right inside the Minecraft world and build, explore and battle mobs and all this with a fresh perspective. Microsoft is going to issue a game update in the month of October to support the Android devices. After that, the latest Xbox Wireless Controller can be used directly with Gear VR device of the game. Users or players will need to download the software update first and after that, the game update will be rolled out. Then the Xbox Wireless Controller and the Gear VR can be connected through Bluetooth.
 Microsoft is currently working to make Xbox Wireless controller compatible with the Gear VR games and with the future games too. Some of the phones supported by it are Galaxy S7, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge plus. A new version of the Gear VR has been announced with the Note 7 that has support for Type-C USB and to the regular micro-USB port. Microsoft currently started with only Minecraft Gera VR edition and it eventually adds some other VR- enabled games too like Spirit Champion, Herbound , End Space and Omega Agent. The official release date of all this is still not made public by Microsoft. Microsoft also announced that the fans will get the first hands-on experience on Minecraft: Gera VR edition at MINECON event.

The first step to playing the Minecraft: Gear VR Edition with the Xbox Wireless controller is to get the latest updates for the controller.
After that, users have to download the October update of the game in Facebooks’ Oculus app on the Gera VR device, then connect the controller with the Bluetooth and start playing.
Right now both the Google Play’s VR and Gear VR store are offering the mix of games and visual content that doesn’t require the controller. To use the latest controller feature users will need the Xbox’s US $70 controller to play.
