    Google’s Project Aims To Beam 5G Internet

    Google a leading company in today’s market is working secretly to build and test solar-powered internet drones in a new project initiating its code name to be Project “SkyBender” in New Mexico.

    The company is renting 15,000 square feet of hangar space for the commercial spaceflight outfit of business from Virgin Galactic.

    The project details are as follows:-

    • SkyBender project appears to be the cutting-edge millimeter wave technology, which transmits gigabits of every second data at a speed of 40 times faster than the modern 4G LTE.
    • Google to use millimeter wave technology for the project in order to achieve high-speed.
    • Millimeter waves may form the backbone of 5G mobile networks and also the future of high speed data transmission technology.
    • The founder of the startup project Starry has announced that millimeter wave technology would be used by people’s homes via Wi-Fi.
    • The waves are shorter in range when compared with the current smartphone signals and are easily disrupted by climatic conditions.
    • Google is focusing potentially on the transmissions over greater distances.
    • A technique with a new solar-powered drone called Centaur is currently being tested by Googlers.
    • The other units made by this division known as the Google Titan where the company has formed after acquiring drone maker Titan Aerospace in the year 2014. 
    • According to the reports the company has to deal with FCC in order to continue testing.
    • Google pays Virgin Galactic $1000 a day for using its hanger and also an additional amount of $300,000 to Spaceport America in order to construct installations with the servers and other techs onsite. 
    • Google in the past had plans to compete with big giants like Facebook and other social networking sites in order to bring internet access in the developing countries.
