    New Research reveals that Marketers should invest more on the You Tube videos as compared to TV for increasing their ROI. The research was basically based on the case studies. 56 case studies were observed from 8 countries to formulate the report. The Return on ROI due to You Tube and TV was observed. It was found that result delivered due to You Tube was higher than TV. You Tube proved to be more useful in terms of yielding outcome.

    Almost three quarters or 77 percent of cases proved this. The research partners were Marketing Scan, GFK, Brand Science, Kantar Worldpanel, Data2Dcisions and Market Share.

    General Manager of EMEA at MarketShare, Mr. Lucien Van der Hoeven told that digital video use had much potential in terms of yielding revenue. It is a fact that TV videos were having a massive impact on marketing but still there were many video portals that were being ignored. Success didn’t lie only in impacting single video portal. Marketers should put their efforts to orchestrate the use of all video media in a combined way. There was no doubt that many video categories in France, Germany and U.K were being under invested.

     

    ROI Yielded by You Tube

    “You Tube provided the highest levels of ROI”, said by the Global Director of BrandScience. He was further of the opinion that online video seems to be more effective in short and medium term as compared to other online marketing techniques. In case the isolated impact of online video marketing on You Tube is measured as compared to the other sources, You Tube has remained more fruitful in boosting the ROI.

     The major example was seen in the case of Snickers campaign. It was run on You Tube in 2015 summers by the Mars UK. The ROI earned from You Tube was two times higher than the ROI earned from investing on T.V ads.
