Bing Ads these days are already alerting advertisers that the days of having Campaign Analytics for conversion tracking are numbered. So, if you are the one who haven’t yet made the switch to Universal Event Tracking (UET), the clock is ticking. Bing Ads will automatically migrate all your accounts with the help of Campaign Analytics goals to UET goals right from the beginning of the May. As a result, campaign analytics will be no longer present at the end of June 2016.
Thus, if you allow your Bing Ads To port your goals to the UET in the month of May, then it will be available in Conversion Tracking > Conversion goals in the web UI. During this time the conversion data will flow as the Bing Ads will associate the tracking from any Campaign Analytics tags to the UET tag.
However, by the end of the June, you will have to be swapped out the tracking tags with UET tag to continue the receiving of the conversion of data. Apart from these, the advantage of UET is that one can use just one tag to track all the conversions and goals. Another advantage of UET is that it powers towards the retargeting for search, thus allowing you to generate and build more targeted audiences of users who have visited your website when they used to search on Bing.
In the last year, Bing has also made some kind of the implementations process to make the UET more simpler. Just add the tag towards your website and then set up the goals and conversions which you want to track for your Bing Ads interface. However, this can be done by the end of June.
