Growth rate of zero-emission vehicles
The growth of Zero-emission vehicles will reduce emission, drive the future of mobility and will build an ecosystem for the electric mobility in India. BEV that is battery electric vehicle has shown the growth rate of 59 percent in 2015. In countries like China BEV has shown the 40 percent growth rate. However, the growth rate in India last year was very less around 1 percent only and has only four thousand electric cars and four lakh BEVs. This number is expected to grow more in the upcoming years with the advancement of technology and growing awareness.
