BlackBerry DTEK60 Android specifications leaked on company’s website

Blackberry has accidently made its DTEK60 running Android public on its own official website. According to the reports, all the specification details of DTEK60 Android Smartphone come from a page on the website with the name ‘donotpublish’. Now this web page has taken down by BlackBerry. Earlier, it was reported that BlackBerry is working on three new Android smartphones. The company has already launched its first Android Smartphone DTEK50 a few months back and its successor DTEK60 has leaked on its official website.

    DTEK60 Specifications

It is rumored that this new Smartphone will be based on TCL 950 or Alcatel Idol Pro 4 Smartphone. According to the leaks, this DTEK60 will come with 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch scratch resistant display having a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. DTEK60 will also be a full touch device like DTEK50. Reportedly BlackBerry DTEK60 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 32GB flash storage and 4GB RAM. It has 3000mAh non-removable battery and USB-C for charging. According to the CrackBerry reports, the device will come with 8MP fixed-focus front camera and 21MP rear camera. A fingerprint scanner is also provided in it with a convenience key.

However, the main selling point of BlackBerry Android Smartphone is the secure implementation of Android. The earlier version of Android Smartphone that is DTEK50 was declared by the company as the “world’s most secure Android Smartphone”. According to BlackBerry, the Smartphone alerts users if someone tries to access the phone’s location or making remote use of its microphone or camera.

The earlier Android version of Blackberry DTEK50 was actually a rebranded version of Alcatel Idol 4 that features a customizable Convenience Key and according to rumors, the BlackBerry DTEK60 will also going to be slightly redesigned Alcatel’s “TCL 950” Smartphone. The specifications leaked recently matches well with the hardware specification details of TENAA and GFXBench for the TCL 950

    Reason behind DTEK60 leak

The BlackBerry DTEK60’s leak or appearance on its official website actually occurred due to an error in the “donotpublish.html” extension but one or another way, all the main details slipped up and gets published on the company’s website.
