Instagram will be adding a few new features to the social media platform that will prove beneficial for businesses particularly. A new boost post feature is expected to come in which will help the user to get more visitors to that particular post which might work like Facebook ads. This has been deduced from the new variable in the Instagram App, “can_boost_post“. Another variable has also been found with the name “Can_See_Organic_insights“. This will probably make it possible to view the proper analytics of a certain post. There may able to options to view the reach, post engagement, views etc. This can be seen as a move to attract more businesses to have Instagram profiles so that they get a better reach.
The Instagram app update may also include more features for businesses like a different business interface page like Facebook pages. There is no proper information revealed on how the new changes will take place or when. These have been deducted from the speculative from the new variables.
A few months back, Re/Code can sent out some details which suggested that Instagram was looking to its expansion to business accounts and profiles. They had also sent out the news that the social media network will be giving option for businesses to post ads.
