Recently Google has made few changes to affect the local search results. As a result, the Google Map will also serve its impact on the service providers and the retailers with physical locations.
As per Brian Barwig, the local SEO specialist was among all those members who have noticed that the ads which are appearing in the local search results, reached after clicking More places….For this reason, he tweeted:

The addition of the ads in the Local Finder results in the retailers and the service providers that aren’t featured in the local three-pack. Now they are adopting new ways to get on top by seeing more listings.
The ads in the Local Finder mostly rely on the location of the AdWords extensions like in Google Maps, that have started featuring ads using location extensions when Google updated Maps in 2013.
Even, when some question is being asked to a Google spokesperson, he told that he wouldn’t able to provide more details other than no to say. He has given the following statement: ” We’re always testing out new formats for local businesses, but don’t have any additional details to share for now.”
Well, till now Google didn’t announce any changes to its ad display in the Google Maps. But yes, soon Google will only show those ads that will include the location extensions in Maps as regular texts cannot be featured….
One of the biggest change that a Google Map has these days is that now it is no longer considered as search partners. Google has now alerted its advertisers, also, the Map is being removed from the list of those of google sites which include the AdWords help pages.
