Defy Media has conducted one survey and found that almost all the young adults and teens watch more online videos than a regular satellite television or a cable TV. As per the survey, it has been found that out of the 36 percent audiences, consumers aged of 13- 24 years can’t live without traditional television.
An online entertainment source revealed that various services like Netflix and YouTube topped in this list as in the social media platforms, all the video contents are easily viewed and increasingly shared on the platforms.
This is going to be a major reason why day by day people are showing more interest towards internet than those of cable channels. As a result for today’s generation, they believe that watching videos are best way to spend their past time as they could able to see a lot of things with a same device.
If you see the ratio, then you can find that almost 56 percentage of the financially independent young viewers subscribe to traditional TV cable channels and rest 86 percentage of the people subscribe to Netflix. In short, it is going to be a really challenging part for the cable TV service providers as the growing rate of online viewers may reduce the TV subscribers.
