Ad blocking Facts in Juniper Research Report
New Study from Juniper Research has revealed shocking facts about the ad blocking. Digital Advertising Industry is estimated to cost more than $27 billion of revenue in adblocking. This is equal to the 10 % of entire digital advertisement revenue.
These estimates are made in the Juniper Research’s Worldwide Digital Advertising report for 2016-2020.
Increased Ad blockings Pose a Threat for Online Marketers
Major tasks of online marketing are accomplished by the digital advertisements. Increased number of adblocking is making online marketers to devise new ways of online marketing. Ad block service allows online users to remove or report about the pushy and irrelevant advertisements. It is estimated that numbers of online customers who are taking benefit from ad block service have increased considerably. The Adblock Plus has revealed that active number of the people who hit the Adblock service has reached one million. The users of this service are more active in U.K and US.
Another Ad Block service, the Adblock Fast has also reported the increase in number of adblockers. According to Adblock Fast, Millennials and young online users are more active in blocking ads than old age users.

The increase in ad block services can be attributed to the services offered by the operators. Apple has integrated software in iOS9. In the same way network operator Three has also announced that it will provide adblocking service to its customers at network level. AAI (Acceptable Ad Initiative) and AMP (Accelerated Mobile Page) by the Google are the tactics used by the industry to solve the issues created by Ad block services. The working mechanism of these programs aims at increasing the trust on digital ads while discouraging the use of Adblock services.
