Microsoft, in a recent press conference, declared its partnership with the Korean tech giant Samsung for the Gear VR. They released Mine craft which is still in its beta stage for the Gear VR. All those Mine craft fans now can explore the whole of the Mine craft in Samsung’s VR.

    What does it mean?

It basically means that anyone having a Samsung Galaxy S6 series, or Samsung Note 5 or higher and has access to the new Samsung Gear VR, would have the opportunity to step into their all-time favorite building-block game – Mine craft.

Yes, limitations being the game only work with the Samsung VR app and the above-mentioned class of smart phones. So everyone who does not own both the pieces of hardware would not be able to access the game in Virtual Reality.

For the one’s thinking that this is the first game in the world of Samsung VR, it’s not so. There are other popular titles like Fantastic Contraption and Lucky’s Tale which is a puzzle Game.

    Features of the game

The new virtual reality version released by Microsoft is a bit, if not entirely different from that of the version released for the Microsoft HoloLens.

This version of the game, Mine craft has two views, theater view or can even be played in the first person. The theater view recreates the situation of playing on TV in the living room sitting comfortably on a couch.

Survival mode is also included in the game which is same as in the pocket edition for Android and iOS.

    Conclusion

With the partnering with Microsoft and release of the game, Samsung has yet found another way to increase the sales of its high-end Smartphone series and the new Gear VR, since the Microsoft HoloLens is a long way to go and costs almost 3 times as the Gear VR and Galaxy S6 combined.
